a special visit to Philadelphia this Fall …
The Award Winning "Iron Chef" Chen Kenichi
On Sunday, September 19th, Chef Chen will be joining Chef Susanna
Foo at her exquisite establishment of the same name, Susanna Foo
Chinese Cuisine, 1512 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19102. Together
with Susanna Foo and her highly acclaimed staff, Chef Chen will
prepare a fabulous 5 course dinner featuring his famous Szechwan
cooking, fusing ingredients unique to his dishes with those of
the local area for a truly outstanding gourmet experience. At
a guest's option a panel of wines will be recommended to complement
the tastes of each course. Pure water from Seagull® IV water
purifiers will be served to refresh the senses during the dining

water for the preparation and cooking of the culinary delights.
In addition to autographed menus, Chef Chen Kenichi will visit
with the guests and there are plans to televise a portion of the
preparation and cooking for the guests to truly showcase Chef
Chen's talents.
Chef Chen is popularly recognized in the United States as the
"Iron Chef" Chinese on the gourmet cooking competition
The Iron Chef Show. Although this show made Chen Kenichi a celebrity,
it is his accomplishments as a master chef that earned him the
accolade as a culinary genius of Chinese cuisine. Chef Chen grew
up in his father's kithen, the man credited with bringing Szechwan
cooking to Japan, to become an acclaimed chef in his own right,
owning and supervising twelve renowned restaurants in Japan. Chen
Kenichi is also Vice Chairman of The Japan Association of Chinese
Cuisine and one of a panel of judges of The World Association
of Chinese Cusine. He is best known internationally for his spectacular
flare for sauces.

Dinner price is estimated at $100.00 per person dependent on Chef
Chen's final menu selection. Wine recommendations will be available
for an additional sum. There will be two seatings at 6:00 and
7:00 pm. To complete the night, nearby Loews hotel will be offering
